ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a toner composition comprising a toner having electroscopic and fixing properties and fine particles of an acrylic polymer, wherein the fine particles of the acrylic polymer are hydrophobic spherical particles having a particle size of 0.05 to 1 .mu.m, which are obtained by dispersion polymerization of an acrylic monomer in a non-aqueous medium.
This toner composition is capable of maintaining good developing property and cleaning property for a long time even in a high-temperature and high-humidity condition and has good flowability and blocking resistance.
These properties are further improved by incorporating fine particles of silica, especially hydrophobic silica, into this toner composition.
