ABSTRACT:
An information reader apparatus includes an original support, information reading device having a plurality of mutually parallel reading arrays spaced by plural (n) times of the reading scan distance and composed of plural reading elements, a display device for displacing the position of information reading by the reading device on the original, detector for detecting the amount of displacement of the reading position by the displacing device, and instruction device for instructing the start of information reading by the reading device upon detection by the detector of the displacement of the reading position by m-times of the reading scan distance, wherein "m" is different from "n".
