ABSTRACT:
A particulate bleaching detergent composition is provided comprising (a) a bleaching agent comprising an inorganic peroxygen compound in combination with an activator therefor; (b) a polymer containing momomeric units of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent hydrogen or an alkyl group containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and M represents hydrogen, or an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal or ammonium cation; and (c) one or more surface active detergent compounds.
