ABSTRACT:
An image processor includes an image memory for storing image data; a data memory for storing graphic data; a display unit for displaying the image data and the graphic data; an input unit for giving an instruction to trace; and a semi-automatic image trace processing section for processing the line image of the image data. Two points on the contours at both sides of line image are set as trace base points for the line image, and the line image is traced, while determining end points and branch points, by moving the two trace base points on the contours at both sides of the line image concurrently in the same directions, while monitoring a relationship between the two trace base points and absorbing some noise of the different line widths.
