ABSTRACT:
A mini-fan unit for cooling a printed circuit board has a collectorless dc motor and a fan wheel driven by the dc motor. The dc motor is a single phase, single core claw pole motor having a back iron free permanent magnet rotor. At least one positioning magnet defines the starting position of the dc motor.
