ABSTRACT:
A method for preparing high-purity methacryloxypropyidimethylchlorosilane is disclosed, said method comprising mixing (A) a methacryloxypropyldimethylchlorosilane which contains an Si-bonded methacryloxy-functional organosilicon compound as an impurity with (B) an inorganic chloride, reacting said inorganic chloride with said Si-bonded methacryloxy- functional organosilicon compound and thereafter isolating the methacryloxypropyldimethylchlorosilane.
