ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to rubber compounds containing polymeric bis-succinimide polysulfides of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is selected from the group consisting of phenylene and xylylene; R.sup.1 is selected from the group consisting hydrogen and alkyls having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms; x is an integer of from 2 to 8 and y is an integer of from 2 to 10.
