ABSTRACT:
An enameled wire which can be safely used for electric machinery such as an electric motor and transformer without causing smoking or fire accidents comprising a conductive wire coated with a thermoplastic straight chain polyurethane having therein the following repeating unit ##STR1## wherein R and R' each represents a divalent group having at least 2 carbon atoms.
