ABSTRACT:
Light-sensitive photographic material which contains as a uv-filter layer a non-light sensitive layer comprising a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein W is the residue of an oxazolone, isoxazolone or pyrazolone ring, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.5 are each hydrogen or halogen or --OCOR.sub.10 wherein R.sub.10 is an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy, alkaryl or aryl, and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each hydrogen or alkoxy.
These compounds exhibit a very sharp cut-off point at about 400 nm.
