ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having coated thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, in which said silver halide emulsion layer or a layer adjacent thereto contains a pyrazoloazole magenta coupler having at least one substituted alkyl group represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein [A] represents a pyrazoloazole magenta coupler residual group; R.sup.1 is an alkyl group; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each is a hydrogen atom or a substituent, provided that both R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are not hydrogen atoms at the same time; and n is 1, 2 or 3.
