ABSTRACT:
A thermal-transfer recording medium having thereon a peeling layer, a heat-meltable ink layer is disclosed. The peeling layer comprises principally a microcrystaline wax whose penetration number at 25.degree. C. is not more than 20. It is suitable for high speed printing of an excellent resolution with low transfer energy.
