BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The garbage can be conveyed in simple fashion to the elevator via the pickup V-ledge of the garbage pickup. Larger garbage components can also be picked up without problems. The elevator conveys the garbage picked up rapidly and across its entire width to the conveyor means. A separation of sand and garbage takes place both by means of the elevator and the conveyor means. The garbage located on the conveyor means is delivered to the garbage pickup located at the rear of the vehicle. Bottlenecks do not occur in this type of garbage pickup Due to the detachable arrangement of the garbage pickup below the loading area, it can moreover be detached in simple fashion or exchanged against another garbage pickup. Depending on the field of application a garbage pickup with another pickup V-ledge and/or another elevator can e.g. be fastened to the vehicle. Due to the arrangement of the garbage pickup below the loading area, the loading area can be used for the most different fields of application. The loading area can in particular also serve to receive the garbage collected in the collecting receptacle. Due to this the application time of the vehicle is considerably prolonged.
Due to the garbage pickup mounted adjustably and/or pivotably on the frame a use of the vehicle is not limited to beach cleaning.
