ABSTRACT:
The draw length and pull weight of a compound archery bow may be varied over a desired range by changing the positions of anchoring the ends of the bow string and power cable on the cam elements at the outer ends of the bow limbs. Each cam element is provided with a plurality of openings arranged in a desired pattern, and an anchor member is secured removably at any one of the openings by a screw extended through the opening and threaded into a tapped opening in the anchor member. A groove in the outer circumference of each anchor member removably recieves a looped end of the bow string or power cable.
