ABSTRACT:
A thermal head, used for an image forming device, comprises a glaze formed at at least a portion of a base plate of the thermal head so that at least a portion of the glaze is protruded, and a plurality of heater portions provided at the glaze, a length of each of the heater portions in a image forming direction of a recording material being less than or equal to 100 .mu.m, wherein an outer surface of each of the heater portions is a convex curved surface and is the outermost portion of the glaze.
