ABSTRACT:
A dye polymer for use in dye compositions for coloring keratinic fibers comprises units of the formula ##STR1## wherein, R represents hydrogen or alkyl, x is a whole number equal at least to 2, and X represents the residue of a molecule of a dye or a dye precursor.
