ABSTRACT:
A muzzle brake system is described for use in connection with the barrel of a firearm to prevent recoil and muzzle jump upon firing of the firearm. A plurality of openings are provided through the upper portion of the barrel to communicate with the chamber to permit escape of gases when the firearm is fired.
