ABSTRACT:
A method of stabilizing an acid cured coating formulation against photo and/or thermal degradation without adverse effect on acid cure is disclosed. The method discloses incorporating a stabilizingly effective amount of a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) represented by Formula I: ##STR1## wherein R is a saturated or unsaturated, optionally alkyl- or alkenyl-substituted alkylene or cycloalkylene radical having 2-20 C-atoms and R' is selected from the group consisting of:
