ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to copolymerizable ultraviolet light absorber compounds having the formula: ##STR1## where R is hydrogen or alkyl C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 ; and Y is a copolymerizable radical selected from acryloyl C.sub.3 -C.sub.12, acryloyloxyalkyl C.sub.3 -C.sub.12, acryloyloxyhydroxyalkyl C.sub.3 -C.sub.12, and alkylacryloyloxyhydroxyalkyl C.sub.3 -C.sub.12.
