ABSTRACT:
Polyamides, prepared from aralkylenediamines such as 5-phenyl-5-methyl-1,9-nonanediamine and dicarboxylic acids such as adipic or azelaic acid, optionally with a tricarboxylic acid for branching such as benzene tricarboxylic acid, are tough, clear resins useful for molding and fibers.
