ABSTRACT:
A method for fabricating an electrode assembly for solid polymer electrolyte fuel cells comprising a cation exchange membrane as the electrolyte and electrode catalyst layers, which utilizes specific perfuluorosulfonic acid copolymers for the cation exchange membrane and a binder used for preparing the electrode catalyst layers or bonding the cation exchange membrane and the electrode catalyst layers and provides electrode assemblies for the fuel cells being capable of providing fuel cells having a high cell voltage with high efficiency.
