ABSTRACT:
A hair clip for restraining at least two portions of hair during the cutting, coloring styling process includes a novel structure wherein two jaws independently operate by manipulation of two side-by-side finger grip structures. A first finger grip structure is communicative with a first jaw portion and a first surface of a common tongue portion. A second finger grip structure is communicative with a second jaw portion and a second surface of the common tongue portion. The second jaw portion is aligned with the first jaw portion and located thereunder. The first and second jaw portions pivotally connect the tongue portion and a pair of torsion springs urge the first and second jaw portions toward the tongue portion.
