ABSTRACT:
An ultra-hard silver halide photographic material having high processing stability, which contains a hydrazine derivative represented by the following general formula (1) or (2): ##STR1## wherein X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are each a group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, Y.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a group, R.sup.1 is a group, Y.sup.1 and R.sup.1 jointly provide 4 to 30 carbon atoms, Y.sup.2 is an electron withdrawing group, R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent group, and n is an integer of from 1 to 5.
