ABSTRACT:
An oxidation resistant carbon material including a composite material is provided. The composite material is obtained by impregnating a carbon material with a boron oxide and/or a hydrate compound thereof, and baking such carbon material under pressure by inert gas at a temperature of not lower than 1500.degree. C.
