A thermoplastic compositions comprising an aromatic polycarbonate resin and a copolymer of C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl acrylate with a hydroxy C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkylacrylate is characterized by its improved notched Izod impact strength and critical thickness.
