ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a novel process for enhancing the strength properties and brightness stability of mechanical pulps. The process uses novel enzymes called rLDM.TM. and other ligninolytic enzymes present in the extracellular growth medium of a fermentation of Phanerochaete chrysosporium.
