ABSTRACT:
The invention provides a zoom lens which comprises a first lens group G1 of positive refracting power and a second lens group G2 of negative refracting power, said first lens group comprising, in order from the object side, a first lens L.sub.1 formed of plastics having not substantially refracting power, a second lens L.sub.2 of negative refracting power and a third lens L.sub.3 of positive refracting power. This zoom lens, albeit using a plastic lens, is less likely to undergo a variation in the focal position due to temperature and humidity changes, inexpensive, compact and of good performance.
