ABSTRACT:
Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) are preferred modified polysaccharides providing at least 10% by weight gelatin particles to prevent fluid loss during diaphragm wall construction. A 1% solution of CMC or HEC give a 1000 cps viscosity at 25.degree. C. An oil slurry comprises:
