ABSTRACT:
Compounds are disclosed having the formula: ##STR1## wherein D is a substituted heterocycle, especially substituted pyridyl, E-G is a linking group, especially --N(R.sub.5)--CH.sub.2 --, and Q is a substituted phenyl or substituted heterocyclic group, especially substituted benzothiopene. The compounds of the invention are angiotensin II receptor antagonists.
