ABSTRACT:
A traction drive fluid composition comprising the principal component of at least one component represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.5 are each a hydrogen or an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and 1, m and n are each 1 to 3, said compound (I) comprising a mixture of 70% or less of the cis-form and 30% or more of the trans-form.
