ABSTRACT:
A polymerization process with ionic polymerization catalyst systems comprising a stable group 4 metal cation and bulky Group 13 metal or metalloid anion containing at least one fluorinated naphthyl or anthracenyl ligand useful for olefins, diolefins, or acetylenically unsaturated monomers, either alone or in combination with each other or with other polymerizable monomers is disclosed.
