ABSTRACT:
Novel organic silicon compounds of formula (1) are provided. ##STR1## R.sup.1 is a monovalent C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 hydrocarbon group, R.sup.2 is a divalent C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 hydrocarbon group, R.sup.3 is a monovalent C.sub.1 -C.sub.2 hydrocarbon group, m is an integer of 3-10, n is equal to 0, 1 or 2, p is equal to 0 or 1, and the sum of n+p is equal to 0, 1 or 2. Inorganic fillers are surface treated with the organic silicon compounds. Compositions comprising EPR and/or EPDM in admixture with the treated inorganic fillers are electrically insulating and have improved oil resistance and mechanical strength.
