ABSTRACT:
An enhanced heat-transfer tube for use in a condenser of a refrigeration system, in which fine grooves having a depth equal to or less than 0.0012 inches, when the refrigerant has a mass velocity equal to or greater than 200,000 lb.sub.m /hr-ft.sup.2, improves the average heat-transfer coefficient.
