Therapeutic process for treating panic disorders in humans comprising, the systemic administration of a 6-phenyl-8-chloro-4H-s-triazolo[4,3-a][1,4]benzodiazepine including the N-oxides and pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof in combination with a pharmaceutical carrier.
