ABSTRACT:
Pharmaceutical compositions for treatment of proliferating skin diseases, primarily psoriasis, but also atopic dermatitis, acne squamous carcinoma of the epidermis, ichthyosis, keratosis. The composition comprises a pharmaceutical carrier with a papaverine alkaloid as the active ingredient of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is carbonyl or (CH.sub.2).sub.n and n is zero or one
