Herbicidal substituted triazoles of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another each stands for hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, halogenoalkyl, halogenoalkenyl, halogenoalkinyl, alkoxyalkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, for in each case optionally substituted aryl, aralkyl or heteroaryl, or together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded stand for an optionally substituted heterocyclic ring,
