GARMIN XL150

On September 17, 2011, Garbage announced via their Facebook page that the band would release a cover version of an as-yet-unannounced song in October. The band explained, "This track has nothing to do with our new record and will not be included. It is not a single. It is simply a song that happens to be a cover version that you will hear in a matter of weeks, if you care to."[116] On October 10, it was revealed that the song in question would be a cover of U2's "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" for the Achtung Baby tribute album AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered. The compilation CD was released with the December 2011 issue of Q.[117] The band also clarified that their forthcoming 11-track LP would be mixed by October 17, while another 12 songs will be finalized by the end of the year and see release as "b-sides, extra tracks and maybe one might even come your way simply as a Christmas present from Garbage as a thank you to you all for sticking around,"[116] though this did not materialise. On November 28, Butch Vig wrote on the band's Facebook page that mastering for the album had been completed.[118]
